Freedom of speech that starts with listening
The GOP is in an all-out war with education and the recent attacks on University Presidents featuring Senator Sinema reveal their tactics; “Whatever you do, don’t listen and block any nuanced discussion about a topic.” To their detriment, the University President’s came “lawyered up,” naively expecting an open discourse about hate speech. They couldn’t have been more wrong with a congress that, as George Bush once said to Joe Biden, “Joe, I don’t do nuance.”

As Christian Nationalist Right-Wing GOP supporters attempt their total takeover of education, some community groups are shouting out their warning cries; “Do we want children to learn only what a radical fringe government wants them to learn?” School boards and election boards have become a front line for a battle over true history versus revisionist history and actual voting versus rigged elections. Candidates put forth by Moms for Liberty were trounced during the last election, but they are redoubling efforts, even in the face of hypocritical duplicity at their highest level (Bridget Ziegler, co-founder of the organization).

Despite having nearly been impeached on 16 counts of corruption and bribery, the Attorney General of Texas, still wants his state to make decisions over a mother’s right to life in his recent abortion ruling. Ken Paxton’s decision to block a court ruling allowing a woman facing sterility or even death if she carries her already dead fetus to term put this state into an unscrupulous classification of stealing women’s rights over their own bodies.

Chaotocracy, a government feeding on chaos, that’s what Trump brought us in his last term and continues to pursue—even though he has no legitimate authority. Trump’s name should be synonymous with misogynistic and narcissistic chaos. Whatever foul statement or action will increase the attention he is receiving and whatever benefits him personally.

Mike Johnson Compares Himself to Moses at Christian Nationalist Gala
This is an example of a person who had no recognition suddenly given a position of authority that sends his ego soaring and his inner bully revealed. Johnson’s voluminous ego has him declaring that God has told him to be the “next Moses.” It’s amazing that he even recognizes God as a higher being, except to the extent he can use that belief to support his own conspiracies.

If Johnson had his way, Gay people would be arrested, children exploring their own sexuality would be removed from their homes, and a Christian Theocracy (overseen by Trump) would trash the constitution and rule the US.
